Triad Advisors is our Independent Broker / Dealer.What are the advantages of working with an independent advisor?As an independent investment services firm we have no obligations to investment product manufacturers and no quotas or home-office directives that may lead to conflicts of interest. You will have an opportunity to evaluate our services and we will have a chance to determine how we can be of service to you.What information will I need to provide?This depends on the questions you want to address and how you want us to help you. We will provide you with a confidential questionnaire that will help you gather the information and documentation that you will need.Does WMA Colorado require clients to have a minimum amount of investable assets?No. We offer financial solutions for clients in all phases of their financial lives, with varying levels of investable assets.How is WMA Colorado compensated?Our compensation depends on the scope of our services. Prior to entering any working relationship the scope of our services is defined and agreed to. Compensation for these services is fully disclosed at this time.What strategies do you employ for individual wealth management?We customize investment management strategies based on individual client goals. Strategies employed include strategic, dynamic and tactical asset allocation. Investments utilized include but are not limited to individual stocks and bonds, ETF's, mutual funds, UIT's, third party managed accounts and fixed and variable annuities.Does the firm manage client securities on a discretionary basis?No. The advantages, disadvantages and characteristics of a particular strategy or investment are thoroughly explained to our clients. No investments are made without the specific direction of the client.Does WMA Colorado take possession of or maintain custody of clients’ funds or securities?No. All invested monies are made payable directly to clearing organizations, trustees, or other financial institutions. No monies are made payable to or retained by WMA Colorado.What about privacy and confidentiality?It is the policy of WMA Colorado to safeguard the individual confidential information of each of our clients and/or prospective clients. We do not make your confidential information available to any third party. This information will be used to develop specific tailored financial planning for you and will serve as the basis of our discussions at the conclusion of the presentation of your financial plan. All information provided to us will be returned to you unless in your sole discretion you wish us to keep it on file or you become a client of WMA Colorado. In that case, all your information will be safeguarded in accordance with WMA Colorado and Triad Advisors policies and maintained appropriately in our files in accordance with FINRA regulations. How often will I receive reports?Clients have the choice of receiving hard copy or electronic statements monthly. Can I view my account online?Yes, you may view your account online from the “Account Access” tab on the homepage of our website. If you need assistance with setting up online access, please call our office at 303-205-7878.How often will we meet?Our preference is to meet and / or review investments, strategies and circumstances semi-annually.
